Bad Brakes

I have a mystery I've been trying to solve with my brakes that has been going on for several months. Back in the fall I replaced the master cylinder on my 73 super. Within that time I have also replaced all the wheel cylinders. After replacing the leaky master cylinder and much bleeding I would find a small amount of air in the master. However, I have lost NO fluid. Is it possible for air to be coming from the resevoir somehow? This being the low pressure side of the system I haven't really considered it having a significant effect in this dilemma. Any ideas?

When you installed the master cylinder, did you bleed the air out of it on the work bench before installing it onto the car?

No, I hadn't bled the master and I've wondered if that's the source of my frustrations. I'll have to go to the auto parts store and invest in a bleeding kit for the master. Unfortunately, this is my daily driver, so I haven't had much opportunity to tear it down or the help to bleed the system. I drive it a short distance to work, so I've learned to tolerate it 'til that time, but I won't suffer anyone else to drive it 'til it's fixed. Thanks for the advice!
