My boyfriend has a 2004.5 Jetta GLI. It gets ridiculously hot where we live, so I wanted to get him a cover for his shift knob. However, they are more elusive than one might expect. All I have been able to find so far is Hello Kitty and Mini Cooper...I don't think either will quite do the job. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I might find something more suitable?

well rather than a cover for it get a new shift nob... you can normally pick them up at your local auto parts place (or even wallmart) and they are nice and easy to install (also look better than a cover)

Tony pretty much called it. Just don't get anything to cheezy, gets something that suits the car, not just something that looks good. Compliment the car :-)
