Has anybody had an issue with the engine revving appx 200-300 rpm's above normal (500-600) at a standstill only when it is raining?

I have come to the conlusion that VW's are dry, summer cars. I usualyl have problems in the rain and winter. I do see some rpm issues when it starts to get wet underneath, to be honest I can't answer your question. I just avoid going out in the rain lol .....hahaha besides that, usually my throttle sticks when it's wet outside, junk gets up in there near the trans and it starts to stick so it revs high at a stop. I don't think that would be an issue for you though because it's a VR6 so bah Hopefully someone will have the answer
