I just bought a 74 SB and the Odometer, Spedometer, Fule Gauge and Background light does not work. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what might be the cause for all of them not working. Or are they all there own little problem that need to be addresed.

Thanks

Ray

Odometer, Spedometer

This is mechanical. A cable from the back of the speedo to the left front wheel. Either not hooked up at either end. Look at the back of the speedo. If the cable is connected there, check the left front hub dust cover to make sure the little clip is on the cable sticking out. If it is check the dust cover to make sure the square hole hasn't been rounded out. It all that is okay you will need to check the cable to see where it's broke.

Fule Gauge

Check the wire from the sending unit on top of the tank back to the speedo.

Background light does not work.

Check the bulbs, ground wires

Well start with that and go from there.
