I have 2003 Jetta 1.8Turbo and i was wondering if installing a Blow Off Valve would it mess up the engine in anyway...

No, your car didn't come with a blowoff valve?? Upgrading your blowoff valve is a good idea, research getting a divertor valve, too...also a manual boost controller is a must, if you're racing like me.

The blowoff valve is installed after the turbo to release pressure from the turbo when it spools. I dunno where your turbo is sitting, or what your setup looks like, I will look into it

It didnt come with a blow off for a good reason and NO NO NO its not a good idea to get a bov. You are blowing off metered air the engine is counting on, resulting in a rich condition. Stay with a diverter style only

dv is the best idea i just installed one, did someone tell you that is messes up your engine?

DV = good idea ,  bov = bad idea
