Hello, I've got a 1998 diesel Beetle with 104k miles on it. Just recently, the light that is the glow plug indicator has started blinking on and off every once in a while. There is no pattern to it. It does not effect the car in any way, except that the cruise control will not engage when it's happening. Any thoughts as to what it might be? Thank you. not certain with the glow plugs, never worked on a diesel before, but at 104k im thinking it could go for a new set of em. I imagine they would need to be replaced just like spark plugs at some point.
