my moms car is a 2001 VW golf standard. it has a nice sounding factory installed stereo. No CD player. It has a tape deck and u can add a cd changer to it. I know this is a pretty general question, i want to connect an ipod to the stereo via a regular input jack no RCA. Standard 1/8 stereo jack. does anyone know if that stereo has that kind of connector in the rear of the system? i'm too nervous to take it apart myself to find out. Will attempt if i can for sure find out.

any info would be cool.

i will get more info about the stereo as well. perhaps if i find the manual for the stereo it will tell me.
