Problem with immobiliser

heya, i have a problem with wat i think is my immobiliser and alarm. say i was drivin, wat would would happen is that the doors would lock and the enjine would cut out, i think this is the alram and immobiliser system but i just want to make sure before i go and wire it up again.

I had a similar problem a few months back, it was after a snow, i went to my car unlocked teh doors with my remote and they did, so i get in and put the key in and the immobolizer kicked up and the red light would pop on inside the car to show that the alarm was armed even thoguh i would unarm it. I took it to a guy adn had the immobolizer and teh alarm uninstalled, its teh only thing to do other then replace it
