yeah, J's right, its a ridiculous amount of work to do oneself. and its even more work to find out all that needs to be done for the motor to hold up to the turbo. there will probably need to be some work done to build up everything to hold the extra pressure, otherwise you may not even be able to use enough boost to make the whole project worth while. we boosted a 4 cylinder dodge dakota, using a non-intercooled turbo off a daytona. it was a great deal of work getting it going, not to mention customizing the engine bay to make it all fit like we needed. We didnt beef up the motor, because we didnt know too much at the time and figured the motor was tough enough. then again we only ran about 8 pounds of boost with a semi-upgraded fuel system. all in all it was a total backyard operation, just seeing if it would work. which it kind of did, though it didnt push as much as we'd have like it to. so all in all, id say find a kit made for the car, do the upgrades needed, and have it work like its supposed to, unless you have a professional (unlike my friends and i) that can help and make it work the way it should.
