I recently bought an 07 GTI with 6 sp. Tiptronic...I love the car and bought it because it had everything I was looking for in a new car....After a couple days it started to hesitate when I was stopped at a light...Not all the time but at least a couple times a day...Yesterday it was almost 5 seconds after hitting the gas that I started to move...It can hapopen in the regualar AT mode or the Tiptronic mode...I have 1000 miles on the car...The service manager at the dealer said eventually they will come out with a flash disc to update the computer....However,I find this a little dangerous if I'm trying to move and can't...Any advice will be appreciated...saxman.pete@verizon.net...

thats not really cool, there has to be something they can do, thats a serious hazard.
sorry i have no help to offer i know nothing of the tips
