Hi I'm new to this forum and need some advice. I am thinking of purchasing a 2003 Jetta 2.0L GLS with 5 speed manual transmission. The vehicle has about 17,000km. Is there anything I should know about this model? Any recalls? For the people who have this vehicle any likes/dislikes or problems?

Its a slow dead dog, skip the 2.slow as its called. Get a 1.8t or vr6 for gods sake, one less 2.0 the better
