starting problems, please help   Printable Version Volkswagen Forum >> VW MODELS >> Volkswagen Jetta >> starting problems, please help Page: [1] Login Message << Older Topic   Newer Topic >> starting problems, please help - 9/17/2006 10:45:21 PM    2004Car   Posts: 4 Joined: 9/13/2006 Status: offline 2000 jetta gls 2.0L........when i go to start my car for the first time of the day it starts up but it sounds and it feels like it is running on 3 cylenders and vibrates very rapidly for a few seconds. it is also very sluggish then it goes away and is fine. when you hit the brake it wants to stall and is sluggish when starting to move. when it gets fully warmed up and your driving its fine. i have replaced the sparkplug wires and plugs and it still does it. what the heck could it be? When was the last time you had a tune up?
