i have a 01 jetta  1.8t  and i am starting to soup it up and to get a real significant horspower gain i will need a new turbo and was wondering if anyone had n e advice or help for me thnx

YOU CANT POLISH A TERD SELL IT AND GET A REAL CAR LIMKE AN LS1 TRANS AM /CAMARO LOW 13'S BONE STOCK.NOT LIKE A GOLF GROCERY GETTER.

I know it's an old thread but just incase someone looks and wants to know for themselves.

Stage 3 set up used a T3-60 turbo set up and made about 301whp.

Amstaff you are full of crap.  Ls1 camaro's aren't that bad as you think i know of a guy with a 1.3 Rotory with 700 bwhp.  screw american cars the crap out to soon and are really lame with as far as production quality.............gee i wonder why ford and gm are slowly being dominated by Nissan, toyota, and Honda.  If you want a dramatic increase in power ported heads alone add 40 hp and would be a better starting point.  If i were you i would build an engine from the ground up then turbo charge.
