Selling my recently acquired German Imported Mk1 Gulf. Car is nearly perfect in every regard. Comes certified

1983 VW Gulf LX 2-Door. 183,000kms on chassis.

Exterior
Entire vehicle is rust free. Floors, firewall, hatch, bottoms of the doors, around the windshield, nowhere on the vehicle are there displays of the beginning signs of rust..period. Original paint, car has never been in hit, all panels and glass are original. Car had been stored for a great many years and has been oil sprayed regularly. Car has factory single round lights and euro grill.

Interior

Original seats, door panels, dash carpet and headliner are all in perfect condition, crack, rip and fade free. All accessories such as interior lighting, instrumentation and heat are also fully functional. Factory head unit has been replaced with a single cd in dash cd player and the factory steering wheel and shift knob have both been upgraded also.

Suspension
Both the front and rear suspension has been replaced with fully adjustable coilovers, car has a slightly lower stance than stock. ALL bushings front to rear(no exceptions) have been replaced with urethane.

Engine/Drivetrain

Under the hood we have a freshly remanufactured 2.0 16v motor, with 40,000kms on the clock. Motor is tight, dry and clean. Additionally, we have dual side draft Weber carbs and intake manifold. Car is in perfect running order and does not require tuning of any kind. An upgraded radiator had also been installed. The factory 16v trans is being used.

Car requires nothing, starts, drives and looks nearly new. Lots of power on tap.
