my mom bought me a 1967 beetle and we were talking to a guy that said "they are the last of the mohecans" is this car really rare or is he just b.s'ing me?

because they car is in bad shape but he said it is worth money just being a 67 if true i am going to sell thins to buy me another car but if not it will sit and rot :)

it isn't too too rare the thing with a 67 is it was a bastard year they are different than 66 and different than 68, so good luck finding most parts to put on it, depending on how good the pan is you can get fenders and all for pretty cheap anymore,

It may be an odd year model, but it was one of the best air cooled model's that was made. If you were to ask me which year to stay away from it would be a 1961, now that was one crappy year.
