i just purchased a 2004 golf last night and I wanted to get some new rims for it. Mainly I wanted to see if the 2007 Hufeisen Alloy's would :
1. have the same lug pattern
2. fit on my car w/o rubbing
and
3. How much do you think a set would cost directly from the dealer

Thanks for the help.

*On a side note, I purchased the car and they say the color is blue. However, the car looks like a mix between gunmetal and blue. I have been on the dubmodder and other sites and the blue that they show is nowhere close to the color of my car. I'm new to the whole Volks thing, so is there somewhere to find the color code like the door panel?

The wheels won't fit, the bolt pattern changed, your's should be 5 x 100. wheels from a dealer would be ridiculous i suggest searching around in different places, i found mine in the local classifieds and paid 300 for wheels that run 145 a piece plus the brand new tires on them. Its good to search, there are a lot of deals on ebay thatll rock your socks and try bigwheels.net they have good prices too.
Sounds like a custom paint job if you cant find a similar one, but look in the trunk in the spare tire compartment, there should be a sticker in there
good luck

Thanks for the answers. Yea I know they'd be outrageous but I planned on those rims and figured that'd be about my only way of getting them. Yea I know I can find good deals just hadn't thought about any other rims.

You know what? there is a four door golf in my parking garage at work that exact color and those exact rims, so im guessing the paint is a standard color.
Im pretty sure those rims will fit the car, as long as they are what i think... the vr6 "monte Carlos" correct? Good lookin wheels and you can find them cheap on ebay from so many people buying cars with them and changing.
If youre interested and still looking when i get my konigs on i might be selling the ariettas that came stock on my car, if you look in the picture gallery you can see them on my car. I cant let them go for too cheap but if you like them we can work something out.

Ok so I decided on the rims above but I found them on ebay

here

I know they are replicas so any chance I could find these wheels at the dealer for the same price, I don't know how old these rims are or what car they originally came with, I saw them on a golf the other day while I was out and they looked good to me.

no, thats a really good price, dealer will try to have you pay a couple hundred a wheel
and who cares if they say replica? its the same wheel, probably just made by someone else.
They came on the GTI VR6 im fairly certain
id go for it, i did em

I know the dealer is probably more expensive, but my uncle sells cars and knows the owner of a VW dealership so he is going to see if he can get me wheels for cost. I don't know exactly if that would be any cheaper than the auction so.
