no, you dont, i had some trouble gettin the air passage pieces out but you can do it without pulling the headlight. once you remove the old passage you should be able to see a good hole to run the tubing down to the bumper area.

guess theres nothing wrong with it, but you wont be getting the "cold-air" effect. i dont see how that would be a problem otherwise

Is cold air better?.... My brother has a 93 honda prelude with an aem engine bay intake it seems to be ok... what do u think is better?

in theory, the cooler the air the better it will run, who knows how much of a difference it makes. but for sure, if you have a better passage for air than the stock restrictive piping you'll run better, because air can get in faster

I dont personaly understand how cooler air would be better but then again I'm still a newbie with this stuff. so does anyone know why colder air is better?

something to do with the air particles probably hotter ones move faster or soemthing i dont really know, just talkin

Thanks for all the help guys i really appreciate it... i think im still deciding if i want to make my own or not... if i decide not to does ne one know what company makes one for 98 jtas AEM doesnt so hoo does?
