My brother has a 01 GTI 1.8t. I need a good downpipe for it,.I got him one off ebay from sprinterpower but the p.o.s. cracked twice. Also does anyone know how to get the check engine light off because of the pipe. Someone told me about a part that goes into the hole to make the o2 sensor receed. Does anyone know what I am talking about. Thanks

not sure about teh cracking dowpipe, thats no bueno. but i have seen what you are talkin about with teh CEL. i believe you can put a washer on before the sensor and itll back it out enough, not sure how thick though.
just read that somewhere, if you find a good downpipe and all let me know cause im sort of in the market for one.

good luck
