i was wondering if there was any one who knew of any differences that the 03 1.8t and the 05 1.8t. I recently bought a simota twin charger cold air intake for that said that it was designed for an 03. i have an 05 1.8t and thought that there shouldn't be any difference in them. when i went out to put the intake on i could not figure out any way to make it work. any info would be great. if i can't figure out how to make it work i'm going to have to sell the part cheap. i paid 200 for it and it is brand new. i was going to try and sell it for $150 obo. if i can't get it to work. if anyone can help it would be very helpful. thanks in advance.

03 and 05 should be the same, i think the end of 02 is when the change occured but i dont know that it affected intake setup. i know the motor went from 150 to 180hp and the DV was changed.

i can probably post them by this weekend. i work 70 hours a week so during the week is a problem. i'm going to try all day saturday to figure it out. i can't beleive i'm having problems with a intake. its embarrassing lol.
