I'm having some trouble with my 2007 Jetta 2.5. The car has been in and out of the shop for weeks at a time for the transmission. Its an automatic and shifts really rough from 1st to 2nd. It doesn't always do it but when it does, it drives me crazy, feels like the tranny is going to get left behind. Anyways, the car is brand new with 5k miles on it and the dealership can't seem to replicate the problem. I'm not sure what to do, they said if I trade in the car I'd lose 6k....anyone know of some better options? Just doesn't seem right to be paying so much money for a car that drives like this one does=(

what state are you in ... lemon law?

Pursue your lemon law option and have the manufacturer buy the vehicle back. Then get a new one. VW may also give you a discount to keep you as a customer.

i agree with whats been said. its probably your best bet....

i hate automatics, they confuse me
