hey all, i have a 2005 1.8t gti automatic, when i start the car the engine will rev to high rpms for about 10 sec. then it settles to nomal ideling speed. whats the deal? thanks in advance

its normal, nothing to worry about. just warming up, thats what the tech told me when i asked, and the funny sound you may hear at start up is just the secondary air pump. no worries
