Has anyone heard anything bout the r 36? If, and when it will be relaesed, and will it grace our roads? Last I heard during the winter, it was supposed to come to america, and wear a version of the thunder bunny body kit.

There is a Passat r 36, in both sedan and wagon overseas if I'm not mistaken. No, I think I saw it on one of those "automotive" shorts on like speed or something. It was based on the rabbit, or gti, or golf, or whatever they're calling it these days. Who knows, maybe its just wishfull thinking. R32, R 36, I'll take either. Can you say HPA Motorsports?

The Golf R36 will carry the 3.6-litre V6 engine that premiered in the Passat R36. There are plenty of spy shots on the net showing what looked like a production-ready Golf R36 undergoing road testing and such. Maybe the new hatchback make its debut this year?
