Hey guys.  Once again, i've run into another problem with my 01 GTi.  When I am driving, seems to be at all speeds, when hitting a bump or turning, the car makes a clunk, actually sounds more like a horseshoe hitting the ground.  I put the car up on a lift, checked out the suspension, and it seems to be fine.  The car has never made this noise until after they changed the front right hub on my car.  Even after they did, the car was fine for a few hundred miles.  The dealer also plans on changing both front brakes and rotors, at their own request and expense, and they look fine to me.  The sound seems to be coming from both sides of the car at different times.  If it is the CV joints, anything I could check for?  Thank you.

Take it to the dealer. Should fix it for you.
