did you make sure to push it in first? like, from the off position, push it in and then turn clockwise 1/8 a turn and pull out. and if this doesn't work, what year vw do you have?

no reason this shouldn't work, if it seems a bit hard to press in, just push a little (a little mind you) harder. but yea, there is no reason this shouldn't work.

yeah, and make sure youre pressing just teh inner knob part not the whole thing.

In regards to the euro headlight switch you referred to? Where is the best place to get one of these switches?

how about daytime runners for a 98 mk3 ? i want to run the dual halos as daytime runners not the low beams , any ideas ???
