I have a 2004 VW Passat Diesel (made in Germany) with a Monsoon CD / Tape Player / Radio. It is spitting out my CDs without playing them and displaying "Error 1."

What is wrong? How do I fix it?

mine does that with some burned cds. not sure why

I wound up taking the car to the dealer. They had to replace the entire unit. The good news is that it was still under warranty!
