I have a 72 beetle and it idles wrong. It does fine while it is idled high but when you try to adjust it down it tries to cut off. Im not sure what is wrong with it, If anybody knows anything please let me know. thanks

Also I have rebuilt the carbs and adjusted the timing and still cant get it to idle.

Is the needle & seat valve working properly?
