Hi All - My BMW is starting to show it's age a bit and I'm very interested in the GTI. I saw a program on the SPEED channel that has caused me to seriously consider buying a new GTI. I was thinking I could still maintain the German engineering for less $$$ than a new BMW.

My question is what is the sportiest, funnest, fastest GTI out there? R32? Tiguan?

Thanks in advance for the feedback....

mmmm R32... just plain tasty, they are coming out with the R36 too, suposed to be 300 Hp whereas the R32 is 250 or so. Any of them would be nice including the new GTI 2.0T, with a little work that thing could be a monster.
happy shopping and be sure to post up

those new GTi's are compared all the time to the new audi tt (with the same damn engine) and yea, that show on speed, they freaked out. those new GTi's will pick up and move you too! i recomend them if you like the look of them. and aftermarket for those cars is getting bigger so...yea. BUT, i still dunno if you can out do the MK4 R32 or even the post 2002 VR6 with the 24v motor. its up to you, but the r32 AWD is SWEET
