Hi, I have a 76 Beetle that is fuel injected and refuses to start. I've replaced the battery and that made all the electrical systems work minus a tail light. The Bug will turn over like a champ but cant ignite. I've checked the Starter and Solenoid and they are both pretty new and the spark at the coil is pretty strong, a white blue spark. I've also replaced the fuel pump and filter under the right wheel well. Still nothing but turning over. My next step was going to be checking the fuel injectors for cleaning and i was wondering if one of the solutions that you add to the tank would help or not. I'm a bit sceptical since i dont think anything is getting through there. Can anyone tell me the probability it is the fuel injectors or something like the distributor or spark plugs. Maybe someone knows of a way to clean the injectors that doesn't involve taking them out if possible. I'm runnin' out of ideas here. this is my first foreign car, the other car i've worked on was a 70 Buick Wildcat, so...much difference. thanks a bunch.
