I have a 2007 Passat 2.0T. Occasionally when I turn the car off I am not able to pull out the electronic key. It will pull out far enough to turn the engine off but sticks at that point. By trial and error I have been able to get it out each time by turning the car back on, moving the steering wheel some, moving out of then back into Park, etc.
Does anyone here know what would be causing this? I wondered if it was something I am doing wrong. I don't have a problem calling the dealership about it but wanted to check and see if it might be "user error" first.
