Hi all.

I am picking-up my R32 this Tuesday and just wanted to ask your opinions when it comes to giving her the all important chip treatment.

My ownership of GTI's go's back a number of years, and I have narrowed my choice down to West Tuning at Thruxton, or AMD at Bicester. Which do yo recommend?

Thanks for the brain power.

Ed

malandrino -> RE: R32 (9/14/2005 10:08:00 PM)

what do you think I can do to my 1.8t glof to make it go faster with out spending alot of money. looking for a small gain like 10 horses.

low04gix6 -> RE: R32 (9/20/2005 9:21:12 PM)

hey man start your own thread j/k the fastest way to make power is a boost controller on your 1.8t

GTIxKiD -> RE: R32 (9/26/2005 10:52:46 PM)

yeah but 2 have a Boost controller u need a BOV 4 all that compression.dont wantur engine 2 take a shyt on u![:@]but 1.8 is 2 thumbs up.but that just me

Jsd -> RE: R32 (9/27/2005 1:13:39 PM)

haha not the engine thats gonna dump first,
compression surge will destroy the turbo
before you get a chance to hurt the engine.

patrick -> RE: R32 (9/27/2005 2:32:16 PM)

the stock turbo cars dont have a BOV? i thought that my turbo car was the only one that allow boost stacking..[:'(]

GTIxKiD -> RE: R32 (9/27/2005 6:17:22 PM)

im not a boost expert but i know a thing or 2...bout it ma car doesnt have a BOV yet...
