Well.......this is my second related post.........but I have more specifics. I replaced a failing Engine speed (Crank) sensor on my 2.0 Jetta which corrected the problem, but a week later, the car wouldn't start. After running through all the electrical diagnostics, I found that the replacement failed as well. The replacement I used was an aftermarket at 1/2 the price....so I'm skeptical. I'm also wondering if the ECM could be shorting out the crank sensor. Anyone have experience with aftermarket sensors..........or can comment on whether the ECM could be screwing up the sensor?. Thanks Much.

if you dont go oem, theres a good chance it'll fail. always go oem
