Well I just picked up my second VW. First one I owned was a 69 Bug that I restored when I was 15.
Saturday I was out car shopping with out any luck. Was looking for something around $5000. Looked at several Accords and Camrys. Had some time to kill while in between looking at a couple different cars. Girl friend suggested driving through small town north of me to stop for gas and grab a snack. Driving down main st I spot a beautifull Passat. I pulled over and told my girlfriend lets look at something I can not afford. To my surprise it was a 99 GLS 1.8T 160k miles for $5100. Car looked like it had 50k tops. Very clean inside and out. Turns out they were all highway miles put on by a doctor traveling in between IA and MO every weekend. The second owner put on the 16" wheels last summer and on the stock wheels are a brand new set of Blizzaks. Also has HID lights. I took it home that night for $4700. The miles scare me a little but for the price and condition I could not resist.
