Rearview Mirror   Printable Version Volkswagen Forum >> GENERAL Volkswagen Forums >> General Tech >> Rearview Mirror Page: [1] Login Message << Older Topic   Newer Topic >> Rearview Mirror - 8/10/2007 3:18:22 PM    bob99pass   Posts: 2 Joined: 8/8/2007 Status: offline My rearview mirror just fell off my 99 Passat.  I pulled the base from the mirror, but I don't know how to remove the steel disc from the base.  In prior cars, I had to mount the steel disc first and then secure the base and mirror to it.  Does the mirror on the Passat work the same way?  or should I mount the base with the steel disc?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
