Hi,
Can anyone help?
Does anyone know of a common fault with the MKiv golf (Which one you say!!) regarding the door catches.
Here's what happened:- Rear door,
The door started to malfunction, acting as though it was locked, could not be opened from outside or inside the suddenly fine, sprayed wd40 on it and seemed ok for a few days the when driving around a round about the door (Rear) just flew open!!!! when I tried to shut it there was no catch and it justed bounced back open. Changed the lock/catch with a new one for £70.00 !!!! and it's been fine since. Now the other door (Rear) is starting to do the same.
Please help as I doin't fancy spending another £70.00 for nothing.
