I remember back in the 70's a goofy tool I had for holding the motor mount nut in back while removing the bolt. It kinda looked like a small booerang with a box-end wrench head in the middle. I haven't seen this listed with any of the parts suppliers.

haven't seen that one in a long time.. I lost my husbands.. you might try ebay.. classic cars.. bug beetle or vw parts.. My husband thinks he saw one for sale on the bfyobsoleteparts.com/volkswagen/home/php out of LA.. good luck in the serch..

I just found that tool.... It is in the mid American motors.. you can find them on the web.. I got the catalog too.. and they are for sale..

I've remembered buying that tool in an old tool shop, when I tried to replace my Volkswagen bug parts and I even lost it... I just forgot what was the name of the shop... Though you can try searching on line... If you know the name of that tool it would be much easier... Goodluck to your search...

This is a newer one, they call it a magnetic box V wrench, it was used to get some extra torque in removing nuts from bolts on the engine.
