Hey everyone,
I recently purchased 2007 passat 2.0T. I really love the car but find it odd that the cars made for the German market come with bluetooth but cars made for the North America market have the bluetooth feature disabled (eventhough its pretty much set up and my steering wheel has a button for it). Any ideas how and where I could possibly find the parts to attempt to set it up?
Thanks

TOM

I had the same issue as you do. My BT kit should be here this week. It is a bunch of BS that German BT is different than US. The dealer here in Bama wanted to put a Motorola POS that still wouldnt make the "phone" button work. If you want to know how I fixed this let me know. I will have it working by the end of the week.  Not going to be cheap it cost me $317 to get this custom module from

Well I had the kit installed yesterday and we put the mic in the overhead console, after testing everything worked perfect!! Completely invisible install!! All of the functions are now on the steering wheel. When I get my new BT phones tomorrow I will let you know how the controls are working. and will also post some pictures of the B pilar Polished Stainless trim that I installed today

Yes  I still need to work with it some more. The wife drives this car. And as far as she is concerned as long as the phone button works to answer calls she is ok with it. But I know it can do so much more
