mandasue -> 2001 gls beetle throwing cat low efficiency code (9/4/2007 7:27:23 PM)

My 2001 beetle GLS only has 37,000 miles and is throwing a low cat efficiency code. Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty or am i going to have to pay for a new one? Any advice would be great.
