I have an 02 TDI Beetle with 84K miles. I have changed the timing belt, water pump, and front and back rotors/pads. Now it is grinding gears when shifting. Can this be adjusted by adding fluid to the clutch and if so where is the resivor?

Your clutch has two cylinders in the system; the clutch master cylinder and the clutch release cylinder. They are serviced by the brake master cylinder reservoir so you cannot service them separately, they always have fluid if the brake master is full. The clutch master is located in the clutch pedal assembly and the release on the transaxle case. Sounds like you may have a trans lubrication problem( too low). Hope this will help somewhat.
