Hi, new to the forum and decided to join because I own a VW now.
I just picked up an 07 GTI over the wknd and have noticed some weird keyless entry issues.
I hit the unlock button on the remote and: I see the lights flash; I HEAR the doors unlock; and, when I go to open the driver's side door it doesn't open. I have to "double pull" on the door handle to get the door open. Have I been driving a Mazda too long? Is this some sort of VW secret handshake?
I was under the impression VW keyless entry was like any other: you hit the button and open the door, the end. Does this sound like I have faulty keyless entry?
Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks in advance.
