Luckily VW just extended the warranty on the catalytic converter because I had that code in there too and they just replaced that a week ago for me at no charge.

Dont get me started on the headlights... that was enough a head ache.... or the tail lights for that matter... and the window motor, my 6 disk CD changer no longer works. a wheel bearing... luckily the cruise control killing my brake lights problem was a recall too...

I love my car but hate the problems with it.

anyway....

I have tried replacing the throatle housing and that didnt change anything. I have the O2 Sensor sitting at home... havnt put it in yet... i can still return it if thats not an issue... but once i open it im screwed...

it is also burning a quart of oil every 2000 miles.

hopeing someone can help me here... any VW techs out there?

It is really running bad... wont stay on.. just idles low and dies... constantly/intermittently... its rather retarded...

help?

thanks!
