My 02 Cabrio leaks when it rains. The water builds up in the rear pasenger area (mostly the drivers' side). I'm lookign for suggestions as to where I can buy replacement (roof) weather seals. Of course I can get the material at the local dealer, but I looking for a less expensive source. Also, any advise as to how to treplace the seals would be appreciated.
Thanks ...Alan '02

You might wanna try going to a few parts stores in your area and asking around for local non-dealer VW parts suppliers. I wouldn't go o a dealer either, they will charge you up the wazoooo....usually if you can find a local VW parts store, they will be able to tell you the best way to replace the seals.

try to consult a trusted mechanic.. or you can check your local parts stores. there are lots of parts and Volkswagen accessories available, you will not have difficulties finding one.

Same problem with my wife's 00.  I thought it was coming from the bottom, but couldn't find any problems after tearing the interior appart.  I've also checked all seals and they are all good...can't figure out where it's coming from.
