I have a 2.0, 03 and in the morning it seems to have a delayed start. You turn the key and about 2 second later she turns over. Batt. has a full charge. WTF. Just got the car over the summer for the wife. It's in great shape and quite clean. Anyone else here had this problem.

Don't know about your 03, but VW has always had sorry wireing, back when I was a VW tech we had the same problem on the old beetles, The wireing would loose a good connection on the terminals and then that would cause low voltage. the starter would pause a couple seconds before turning over, and it would also cause slow cranking and dim lights. The repair back then was to use a 10 gauge wire and go directly from the positive post on the battery to the battery side of the ignition switch. that would be the post on the switch that stays hot all the time. that did miracles back in the good ole days , just be careful while doing it.
