After starting up my '03 Wolfsburg after it's been sitting overnight, i step on the gas to pull out of my parking spot while driving the first 50 yards or so, i experience a bit of light sputtering, where i can feel small gaps in power in rapid succession.

This seems to happen in both warm and cold conditions, and I haven't noticed that it happens more or less in wet or dry weather.

It doesn't happen after the car has been driven a bit and parked for a few hours, only when it sits overnight (and even then, not all the time).

Very few miles on the car (30k), and it's used for around-the-city driving only.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

figured it out..could still be running rich but it sounds to me like your coil pack is dying..remove the valve cover to check that all spark plugs are in place,if they are its time to order new coils and/or bring it to the dealership and have them fix it
