I have had a 2.5 130bhp 04 plate transporter for about 6 months now and have had engine problems on about 15 occasions. The engine looses a lot of power, its like 60 horses fall out of the engine for no apparent reason. Normal power does not resume until i kill the engine, jump start it - baring in mind i sometimes have to do this at 50 +mph, then change out of the gear i am in, it then suddenly kicks back into action. As it is an intermitent problem i dont fancy parking outside a garage for a few weeks waiting for it to go wrong so any help would be appreciated .
